Jorge Sala

Chief Operations Officer


Jorge Sala is a founding partner of INTECH AMERICAS and currently serves as the Director of Operations. Jorge has over 16 years experience in the software development industry, 14 of which are focused on the Telecommunications market. Jorge has skills in all phases of the software development life cycle and management.
Jorge started his career with Ericsson as part of the pioneer team in the area of intelligent networks and value added solutions. Jorge was instrumental in the creation of Ericsson’s Center for Adaptation of Intelligent Networks, Latin America. The Center for Adaptation of Intelligent Networks, Latin America was created to allow Ericsson to support unique, market specific Intelligent Network products, in a rapid manner.
In 2002 Jorge decided to leave Ericsson and in conjunction with Antonio Hernandez created Intelligent Network Technologies Company, INTECH AMERICAS.
In the early days of INTECH AMERICAS, Jorge created and built the Commercial Division. This division was responsible for Product Development and obtaining new business clients. Through a combination of Jorge’s technical background, market knowledge, business acumen and leadership, in two short years INTECH AMERICAS had established itself as a valued provider of technical services to global technology companies.


In 2009, Jorge became the Director of Operations, with the aim of promoting growth in the capabilities of the Operations organization. His focus was to increase productivity and efficiency while delivering higher quality product to INTECH AMERICAS´s clients. To accomplish these goals Jorge implemented a number of different tools and methodologies in the organization. Jorge has combined Agile Scrum, CMMI and INTECH AMERICAS´s own Competence Management System to create a development methodology that is truly unique in the industry.
Jorge has a degree on Computer Systems Programming from the Technological Institute of Saltillo.

BroadSoft Global Professional Services (GPS) relationship with INTECH AMERICAS is a good/positive relationship. We find the management team to be very responsive and flexible. The technical team completes assignments professionally. INTECH AMERICAS provides value to GPS by sourcing quality engineers to help BroadSoft meet service needs of our customers in the CALA region primarily, but also in other geographies
